Welcome to our ‘Hogwarts Legacy Releasing In September?’ article. Beyond 2022, Warner Bros. Games and developer Avalanche Software may aim for September for Hogwarts Legacy.
According to AccountNGT, “a September 1st release date is becoming more and more likely”.
Harry Potter enthusiasts call September 1 “Back to Hogwarts Day,” the day Hogwarts students return to school, a logical release date for the game. Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software have yet to establish an official release date.
Warner Bros. Games has reaffirmed the game’s broad 2022 delivery window after speculations of a 2023 delay.
While a September release might be enticing to series fans, it’s best to take these rumours with a grain of salt until they’re formally verified. Hogwarts Legacy will be available on PS5, Xbox One, and PC.
Overview
While the precise release date of Hogwarts Legacy is still unknown, Warner Bros. and Avalanche Software have confirmed that it will be in 2022. The fact that we’re already in February suggests we may expect to learn more about the game shortly.
Avalanche Software tweeted towards the end of 2021 that it was “eager to share more news and updates on Hogwarts Legacy next year,” but didn’t explain.
Originally revealed in September 2020 during a PlayStation event, the game was set to arrive in 2021. That same year, a postponement was announced, delaying the game till 2022. Since then, Warner Bros has only confirmed that the game would be a “immersive, open-world RPG” set in the wizarding world of the 1800s, with players assuming the role of a Hogwarts student “who holds the key to an ancient mystery that threatens to rip the wizarding world apart.”
With so little information available, the next Hogwarts Legacy update is sure to be eagerly awaited by fans.
