Halo Infinite: How To Defeat The Harbinger
The Halo series has long been a favorite among first-person shooter campaigns, and Halo Infinite follows that tendency. Master Chief, who barely survived Cortana’s first universe conquest, now defends mankind against the Banished, a new enemy faction born of the Covenant-Human war.
The ultimate boss encounter in Halo Infinite is against a being focused on something far more destructive than simply eradicating humanity: the Harbinger. If the Forerunners kept the Endless hidden, we can presume that whatever they are is awful news. Regardless, fighting the Harbinger is difficult, therefore here is a tutorial with tips and methods.
Be Aware Of Your Surroundings
The Harbinger’s ultimate battle is in the Silent Auditorium. A large region with lots of shelter and elemental coils for explosive damage. The Spartan can stay safe and mobile by using Master Chief’s Grappleshot and Thrusters.
The Harbinger will then call waves of Banished to fight Master Chief. Throughout the combat, the Harbinger sends waves of Banished towards Master Chief. Banished groups will consist of Jackals, Brutes, Grunts, elite, and Skimmers, so expect any adversary in the game (besides Hunters). To warn you of approaching foes, a blue-lit doorway will appear randomly around the auditorium.
After dealing with the Banished, the Harbinger will go after Master Chief. The creature will fire energy spheres at the Spartan, so use Grappleshot and Thrusters to dodge. The Sentinel Beam is quite successful in removing the Harbinger’s barrier, allowing Master Chief to fire on its health bar.
Deal With Waves Of Enemies
Unlike the boss fight against Escharum, the Harbinger just launches more energy orbs towards Master Chief. The Harbinger’s waves of Banished alter, and Master Chief fights against the best of the Banished in the last phase. A Brute Chieftain wielding a Gravity Hammer will face many Skimmers armed with Shock Rifles.
This penultimate wave before finishing the Harbinger will definitely challenge your skills. Depending on the difficulty, you can choose which enemies to attack. The Chieftain can be a pain since the Brute hurls itself towards Master Chief. If you can dodge the Brute, you can finish off the other Banished before focusing on the Brute.
To combat practically every Banished, the Harbinger’s Sentinel Beam is extremely effective, therefore use it. After defeating the last Banished, finish out the Harbinger and enjoy the Halo Infinite credits.
