“Gundam Evolution – Opens Invites for Closed Network Tests, Registration is open now”

It’s time to get ready for Gundam Evolution, the free-to-play first-person shooter that aims to combine the enormous robots of anime fame with game modes and a style akin to Blizzard’s Overwatch. From June 23 to June 28, players on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 can choose their favourite mobile suit and team up with five other mechas in a six-on-six team competition. The registration for the test is currently open, and those chosen for access to the game will be notified on June 16 and 17.

It’s unknown how much Gundam Evolution content will be included in the multiplayer test, but the complete game promises to please fans of all ages. Mechs from the anime’s numerous iterations, including those outside the main Universal Century timeframe, will be accessible. Bandai Namco has already revealed more than ten final game suits, ranging from the anticipated original Gundam and Zaku II to the more current Gundam Exia and Gundam Barbatos. They have powers and varied weapons like the characters in Overwatch, which is difficult not to draw, especially with the game’s Overwatch-esque HUD.

Executive Producer Kazuya Maruyama addressed the test on the game’s website. While it is intended This test is intended to iron out issues, but it also allows the team to test console-specific features like aim aid and gamepad controls. The last test was on PC, and the improvements from that test will not be included in the upcoming console test. The console test will also lack in-game voice chat, but the complete game will.
