If you see this error, it may be a DirectX issue. Before we begin, you must download the “dxvk-1.9.3.tar.gz” file from this site. It’s in the Assets drop-down menu.

After downloading, select Show in Folder. Extract the file and open it. Copy all files in the x64 folder. Now open Steam and right-click on God of War.
Go to the Local Files tab in Properties. Click explore to find the God of War Game folder. Then run the game from the Game folder.
