Fortnite Device Chapter 3 Location: How to Discover the Device
The first season of Fortnite Chapter 3 has begun, and one of the initial objectives is to find the device. This is a basic task, but it is required to access the current weekly missions.
Thankfully, like Chapter 2 Season 8, Chapter 3 Season 1 allows you to switch between tasks within the same match, so you can move on to the next objective right away. This is the device in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1.
Where to Discover the Device in Fortnite
There are nine different locations to find the device, but you only need to travel to one. Here are the nine devices’ locations:
- Northwest of Camp Cuddle
- Northwest of Logjam Lumberyard
- Southwest of Coney Crossroads
- East of Sanctuary on an island past the Foundation statue
- Southwest of Greasy Grove
- South of Condo Canyon
- Northeast of The Daily Bugle
- East of Sanctuary by the Foundation statue
- Sanctuary
How to Discover the Device
Look for a small briefcase. Unlocking it will grant you access to a communication device, allowing you to communicate with The Seven and receive new tasks. Interact with it to receive it. The device is simpler to locate in the eastern side of the map near Sanctuary, especially the two spots on the islands. Remember to collect Gem Fragments from gas stations and Seven Vaults.

After completing this quest, you can proceed with the remaining Week 1 challenges. Completing these missions will give you a lot of XP and help you unlock Spider-Man.
