Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker 6.0 Patch Notes Reveal New Dungeons & Job Details
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker 6.0 patch notes have been posted, revealing new dungeons, job descriptions, and more for the popular MMO this month. The FFXIV: Endwalker expansion for Square Enix’s successful game was supposed to be released in late November, but developers opted to push it back until early December. The expansion will be available for purchase on December 7, with early access beginning on December 3.
FFXIV’s Endwalker expansion will bring the storyline established in A Realm Reborn to a close. The nearly ten-year-old storey immersed players in the realm of Eorzea, challenging them to become the Warrior of Light and join the Scions of the Seventh Dawn in order to bring peace to the war-torn continent. A total of eight expansions and patches were released to tell the primary plot. The fact that the upcoming expansion will put an end to that saga has many players wondering if FFXIV: Endwalker will be the game’s final expansion. Endwalker, despite its ominous moniker, will not be the end of Eorzea’s storey, according to Square Enix.
Square Enix has posted the patch notes for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker ahead of its release. The upgrade will include new dungeons and jobs in addition to new cities and quests. In addition to the new dungeons, the developers have stated that experience points earned from beating normal dungeon monsters will now be rewarded from conquering dungeon bosses. In addition, because the game’s maximum level cap will be raised, players will be able to collect experience points from level 80 dungeons, trials, and 5. x alliance raid dungeons. Endwalker adds a new Sage job (healer class) and a new Reaper job to Final Fantasy XIV (melee DPS). Both jobs have no associated classes and start at level 70, according to the patch notes. The playable content component of the FFXIV 6.0 patch notes can be seen below, with the full notes available on the Square Enix website.

The introduction of the new FFXIV: Endwalker Sage job delighted long-time followers of the Final Fantasy franchise. The Sage class debuted in Final Fantasy III and has since appeared in a number of spin-off titles. The job had not yet appeared in FFXIV in a similar capacity, thus its addition will be appreciated, especially as it has been wanted for quite some time. With the new Reaper job, players will be able to call a spectral avatar from the Void to aid them in close-range combat. As a result, the Reaper class appears to have the potential to become a popular melee DPS employment choice.
Despite the enthusiasm surrounding the debut of the new addition, Square Enix has warned players that FFXIV: Endwalker will cause login problems. As with previous updates and expansion releases, the video game firm explained that more simultaneous logins than usual will lead the game’s Worlds to hit their maximum login capacity. However, the fact that Endwalker is the long-awaited conclusion of one storey and the beginning of a new one hasn’t diminished the excitement surrounding it.
