How to save Dr. Matias Alonso?
After finishing the main objective Break the Chains, this mission will show in your journal. Talia is waiting for you at Camp Maximas within Valle De Oro. You must go the far north to True Yaran Academy facility, where “brainwashing” is going to take place, to complete this rescue operation. You’ll encounter both rebels and opponents in this region, and the latter can be readily dispatched by using climbing equipment to ascend the roofs of buildings, for instance. Your goal is to locate the laboratory room inside one of the buildings, which may be identified by the Laboratorio signage. Inside, you’ll begin a conversation with Dr. Matias.
How to locate the trauma kit?
Matias will take you to the complex’s eastern wing, in which a medicine bag will be discovered. Along the way, you’ll face two big challenges, There are mines at the main bridge, therefore it’s best that you swim to the opposite side. Also, a bunch of opponents are near the stairwell so a sniper rifle is the best way to deal with them. If you prefer to assault from a closer range, avoid getting setup in the open, since your opponents may use a static gun. You can try to stay away from them entirely. You must investigate the game-marked building and locate the red coloured medical bag depicted in the image, which would be the same trauma kit you want. Deliver the bag to Dr. Matias.
How to protect the Academy?
From now on, you’ll be responsible with defending the Academy, especially Dr. Matias. You can’t let the doctor’s health drop to zero, but he’s inside a structure and so safe from hostile fire. During the conflict at the Academy, stay on the top balconies near the lab room. Search for chances to destroy approaching cars, preferably before the opponents can depart them. A launcher or even a grenade launcher is ideal. Eventually in the conflict, an enemy helicopter and more soldiers will arrive over the Academy. Shoot your rocket launcher or even other heavy weapon at the helicopter, or wait till it gets close enough to trigger the Volta supremo and ‘sink’ it. After the defence task, a cut-scene plays and the quest is finished.
