Elon Musk Will be Removing Twitter’s Ban on Twitter?
As long as Elon Musk completes the purchase of Twitter, which was announced by Tesla CEO Elon Musk himself, Trump’s Twitter ban might be lifted.
During FT Live’s “Future of the Car” conference on Tuesday, the billionaire entrepreneur did not shy away from discussing Trump’s recent Twitter penalties.
“Permanent bans should be extremely rare and really reserved for accounts that are bots, or scam, spam accounts… I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump, I think that was a mistake, because it alienated a large part of the country and did not ultimately result in Donald Trump not having a voice,” Musk explained
However Twitter accepted Musk’s buyout bid on April 25, Musk claimed the agreement will take two to three months to be finalised, although he suggested that the buyout may not be finalised.
“I would reverse the permanent ban, I don’t own Twitter yet. So this is not like a thing that will definitely happen, because what if I don’t own Twitter?”
