Welcome to our guide of “Dying Light 2: How To Get weapons?”. When fighting the Infected of Villedor, Dying Light 2 weaponry come in handy. Axes built of disc brakes or even bows with unique arrow types will be able to be used as makeshift melee weapons. In Dying Light 2, you can equip elemental mods to your weapons to deal additional harm and special effects to your enemies. We explain how Dying Light 2’s firearms operate.

Dying Light 2: How to get weapons?

Weapons in Dying Light 2 are obviously crucial for fighting and thus survival. You’ll get new weapons all the time as you play, from opponents you destroy, treasure crates, and mission rewards. It’s a use-and-lose system because you can’t repair objects and can only increase durability by adding mods. Because of the short lifespan of the weapons, you’ll be continuously switching and replacing them as you progress.
Aiden can wield up to four weaponry at once. This includes blades, axe, mace, machete, stick, hammer, knuckle duster and one-handed and two-handed versions. You’ll even find bows, though the initial one you obtain isn’t terrific, so it’s wise to hold out until better ones become available. Investing in a good bow gives players ranged stealth successfully, allowing you to clear rival bases without being spotted.

There isn’t a single greatest weapon type in Dying Light 2, as they all function similarly. One-handed weapons, on the other hand, do less damage but swing faster, whilst two-handed weapons do more damage but swing slowly and need great timing to land. Equip a wide range of weaponry so you always have the correct tool for the task. Faster one-handed weapons, for example, are frequently better against big numbers of zombies, whereas slower two-handed weapons are better against bosses or even smaller hordes.
