We have all the details on the ‘help Hakon’ and ‘let him die’ options of the Dying Light 2’s Revolution mission.
Helping Hakon or letting him die?
Just when Peacekeeper windmill bursts, you’ll need to travel to Hakon to exit Old Villedor and reach the Central Loop within Dying Light 2 Revolution. When you meet Hakon, things go awry when he is abruptly shot by a mysterious crossbow sniper.
A strange three-clawed wound on Hakon’s chest, clearly caused by Commander Lucas’ Lazarus weapon, catches Aiden’s attention. Aiden realises Hakon, not someone from the Bazaar, killed Lucas. Hakon also admits to working for Waltz. With this new information about Aiden’s lone true ally in Villedor, you must decide whether to aid Hakon or abandon him to die.
Dying Light 2: Helping Hakon
Aiden will casually take the crossbow bolt out from Hakon’s shoulder and declare he’s ready to get the sniper if you assist him. Beyond that, Hakkon and Aiden’s bond is clearly broken. In order to cope with the mystery crossbow assassin, Hakon can come on the radio and give you some guidance.
Aiden will check in with Hakon following coping with the sniper, and Hakon will give him some last Dying Light 2 recommendations before Aiden decides he’s done listening and leaves.
Dying Light 2: Abandon Hakon
Leaving Hakon to death is just less interesting than helping because he merely remains quiet, leaving you isolated with the shooter. Aiden informs Hakon that if the sniper doesn’t get him, then Infected would.
