When will League of Legends Season 12 begin?
In prior years, League of Legends began a new season quickly after the preseason concluded, usually in the first two weeks of January. The preseason was made available on the PBE a little early this year to allow Riot enough time to make any necessary modifications or corrections before the season began.
Season 12’s start date may change due to the arrival of the Chemtech and Hextech drakes, new items, champion reworks, and the new inspiration keystone rune. However, players should expect Season 12 to begin in early to mid January.
