Are Banks Open?
Most major banks and credit unions will be open on Friday, July 3, but some may have shorter hours or close early due to their location.
On Independence Day – Saturday, July 4, Banks will be closed, and are expected to reopen on Monday, July 6.

Is the Stock Market Open?
No.
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq will be closed on Friday, July 3 for Independence Day.
Trading will return to normal on Monday, July 6, at 9.30 a.m. ET.

Will USPS Deliver Mail?
The United States Postal Service (USPS) will be running on their regular schedule Friday, July 3 with regular mail pickup and delivery.
It will be a post-holiday Saturday on July 4th and the post offices will be closed with no regular mail service.

Is UPS Open?
Yes.
Friday, July 3, is expected to be a normal day for UPS pickup and delivery.
UPS will not be operating a regular UPS Pickup/Delivery service on Saturday, July 4, and UPS Store facilities are likely to be closed on the holiday.
Is FedEx Open?
FedEx will continue to service on Friday, July 3, with some services and retail locations possibly having different operating times based on location.
FedEx has announced that it will not be taking out of business or delivering any regular services on Saturday, July 4, and some retail stores will be closed or have adjusted hours.

Are Government Offices Open?
Independence Day is celebrated with closed Federal offices, post offices, and many government buildings.
