Valheim: The merchant Haldor elaborated
You’ve searched Valheim but can’t find the seller. What now?
Haldor – and his pack mule Haldeim – only emerge in Black Forest biodiversity. Black Forest is indeed among the most difficult biomes to enter straight away, therefore the merchant won’t have much for you if you’re just starting out.
On the maps, a sack symbol indicates your proximity to Haldor. When you approach him, you will notice a protective bubble surrounding his camp, preventing dangerous beasts from attacking you or him.
Position a Portal (two Surtling Cores and ten Greydwarf Eyes as well as twenty Fine Wood) just next to the merchant to return instantly. That saves you time when your base isn’t close by.

A seed found near the spawn place with a confirmed merchant. You should be able to find Haldor on your map if you travel south-east direction from the spawning location, follow the coast, and then enter into the Black Forest. If you run and dodge Greylings, you can almost make it all the way here from the beginning.
