As you continue through V Rising, you may encounter regions that provide you different debuffs if you linger in them for too long. This article will explain what Holy Radiation is and how to deal with it.

V Rising: How Do You Deal With Holy Radiation?

What exactly is Holy Radiation?

When you leave the Farbane Woods and enter the Dunley Farmlands. When you’re in the region, you’ll notice a few spots that provide the Holy Radiation debuff. This will deplete your health every second until you die or leave the region.

What is the function of Holy Radiation?

As previously stated, Holy Radiation will sap your health at a rate of around 10 health per second if you have no Holy resistance. This alters when your Holy Resistance increases. At 50 Holy resistance, for example, you may freely examine the Dunley Monastery without worry of receiving any Holy Radiation.

How to Counteract Holy Radiation?

The best approach to avoid Holy Radiation is to avoid regions where it exists! Aside from that, everything that offers Holy resistance, from equipment to consumables and abilities, qualifies. For 30 minutes, the Holy Resistance Potion will provide you 50 Holy resistance. This will enable you to explore most areas sooner without concern of incurring damage over time. The only issue is that you’ll need two scourgestones to produce them, and they’re not easy to get by early on.

Boosting your Holy Resistance

The resistances are shown to the right of your character on the character screen, which is accessible by hitting Tab. This will show you your current resistances to each damaging effect, such as Sun, Garlic, Holy, Fire, and Silver. By boosting your resistance to Holy, you may minimize the damage sustained from Holy strikes and counteract the harm done by Holy Radiation. At 50 Holy resistance, you will take 25% less damage from Holy strikes and up to 10% less damage from Holy Radiation.

How to Boost Holy Resistance?

There are many ways to boost your resistance to Holy. One method is to use consumables to provide a temporary boost that may last up to 30 minutes. The alternative, more permanent approach is to equip gear with Holy Resistance + X.
