McGregor and Poirier meet in Las Vegas in what could be the biggest spectacle of the year for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Conor McGregor and the UFC’s No. 1 lightweight contender Dustin Poirier face off at UFC 264 for the third time and with a shot at the title against current champion Charles Oliveira almost certainly on the other side.
But forget the future for the time being because the stakes are already high.
Sunday will be the final instalment of a trilogy which began in 2014 with McGregor knocking out Poirier in the first round.
