Sodapoppin believes xQc was “wrong” to skip Shitcamp of QTCinderella
Following the uproar caused by xQc’s last-minute cancellation of his ShitCamp performance, Sodapoppin has stated that xQc was “wrong” to do so. xQc claimed that he was not attending because Sodapoppin wasn’t.
In a recent episode of the podcast ‘Hatewatchers,’ hosted by streamer DKane, Soda addressed the controversy around xQc’s absence and explained why he had decided not to attend.
Speaking for himself, Soda said he had informed the event’s organisers in advance that he would not be attending due to his need to stream at specific times and the introduction of the new World of Warcraft expansion.
“But, [xQc], just suddenly didn’t go. That was weird. And in my opinion, it was wrong for him to have done that. But also, it is like the 50th time that he’s done it.
So it comes to a point where it’s like, you know what, never expect him to be f**king anywhere he says he’s going to be. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on you, or whatever.”
Since Shit Camp is organised annually by QTCinderella, xQc was called out by her, and Hasan criticised his last-minute decision to skip the event.
“Just feels icky to carelessly sh*t on something else worked hard on EVEN IF you had legitimate reasons to bail beyond wanting to do gambling streams,” Hasan said.
According to xQc, the real cause was the stress of dealing with “family drama” and “relationship drama” in his own life.
His breakup with his girlfriend, fellow Twitch streamer Adept, was also announced in September.
