Welcome to our guide of “Sifu: Everything About Ageing!”. Ageing is a crucial mechanic in Sifu. You start at 20 and must complete all five levels before reaching 75. While this may appear simple, it is actually quite complex and requires careful attention.
I’ve died numerous times within Sifu to understand precisely how it goes and what you’re into once you start your trip.

Sifu: Everything About Ageing!

Know Everything About Ageing

Sifu begins at the age of 20, this is the foundation age. You’ll have the strongest resistance to injury but the least bit of it when you’re young, making you the glass cannon. This may sound overwhelming, but it becomes apparent as you age. Every time you die, you sacrifice another year of your lifespan, and you resurrect aged.
The max is 75. That’s 55 in-game years for completing the game. Isn’t it Wrong. However, Sifu is a bit harsher than that. Instead, each death adds one to the death counter. So if you die at 20, you’ll resurrect at 21 & see the figure one beside a skull. The subsequent time you pass, the number next to the skull will be two, suggesting you have gained two lives and are now 23.

This will increase when you die, so if you’re trapped on a boss encounter, expect that figure to skyrocket. There are various ways to combat this & make matters a little bit more fair for yourself.
Defeating a group of opponents or a very strong foe reduces the death counter. So if you defeat a mini-boss, the counter will go down. So, as you play longer, you’ll see that the death counter rarely rises, as you’ll be bringing it down anytime you clear a round.

Every time you die, you can use some of your expertise points to learn new moves. Also, you can only purchase skills at statues or even in the hideout, thus dying in battle can be beneficial. But take our suggestion and spend XP on everlasting movements as often as you can.
If you’re having trouble passing a level since your age is very high, you’ll be frail and old at the end, try replaying a previous level to reduce your age. Your age is saved at the conclusion of each level, so when you continue, you’ll be that age. So by repeating levels & shaving off years, you’ll improve your chances next time.

So, this is everything about ageing in Sifu. Feel free to leave a comment if you liked the guide.
