Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Catching Goomy & Evolve Into Goodra
Goomy, a Dragon-type Pokemon, was featured in the Paldea Region of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet thanks to its inclusion among the lucky specimens of the previous Generation. Goomy also evolves through three stages, with its final form, Goodra, being a formidable Dragon-Type teammate who can hold its own in battle. Here you’ll find all you need to know about the Pokémon Goodra, whether you want to add it to your team or just collect it for the Pokédex. Check out the guide below if you’re playing Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet and want to know how to capture Goomy and then evolve it into Goodra.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Evolving Goomy into Goodra
The process of Goomy evolution is simple. Goomy must evolve into Sliggoo before you may catch Goodra. Raise your Goomy’s training level to 40 to accomplish this. Automatic evolution occurs at level 40, at which point you get a Sliggoo that you can train to become a Goodra.
The evolution process from Sliggoo to Goodra is identical, except that an additional criterion must be met. Raising a Sliggoo to level 50 or higher and having it gain a level while surrounded by wet weather is required to evolve it into Goodra.
As the weather can have a significant impact on your progress in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it’s a good idea to stock up on EXP booting products like Rare Candies and EXP Candy M, L, and XL. You can then immediately begin feeding these materials to Sliggoo whenever it rains, which will increase its level and begin the evolution process. If you want to successfully evolve your Sliggoo into a Goodra, this is the easiest way to do so.
