Players can also modify their pokemon’s name, which isn’t well known. You no longer have to find a Name Rater character on the map. Like abilities, this is a menu option.
Even better, you can remove a nickname and change it to a character’s name at any moment. Use the D-Pad to highlight your pokemon. Then choose “Change Name” with A.
Pokemon Legends Arceus: Avoid Battles
The game reveals soon on that you could leave battles by choosing the “Run” option, but there is a second approach. Because Trainers can move freely during combat, you can practically turn and flee. The battle ends automatically after a specified distance, without the need to touch a button. This may not sound important, but it has some uses. You can occasionally bypass an opposing Pokemon’s attack, turn & avoid receiving damage.
This is quite useful while attempting to capture a rarer Pokemon and being jumped by 3 other monsters. After collecting the species you desire, dash out of there before more turns are played.
Pokemon Legends Arceus: Catch All 3 Starters
The previous entries required many trades to secure all three starters. Professor Laventon rewards you with the final two when you beat the main campaign. Trainers can also locate the starters in random Space-Time Distortions throughout the map. Lucky players may encounter Shiny variations in the distortions. This is wonderful because your original pokemon are Shiny-locked.
Even cooler, gamers may run into their enormous Alpha forms. Having a giant Typhlosion as well as a Samurott on your squad is awesome.
