Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Hyper Training Explained

It’s such a chore to find the proper Pokemon. To be honest, it was a huge deterrent for many dedicated players to put in that extra effort in the core games only to get flawless EVs and IVs. Hyper Training was a later game mechanic that sped up the process of obtaining IVs for your mons. This mechanic, which debuted in Sun and Moon, has since been adopted by Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Here’s a rundown of what Hyper Training is and how to perform it in Pokemon BDSP.

What is Hyper Training and How Does It Work?

Hyper Training is the process of increasing a Pokemon’s IV stat to its greatest potential. This gives players more options than just breeding several times to give their Pokemon the proper stats. If you want to pass along egg movements and hidden skills, you’ll have to do it the old-fashioned way, albeit there are other options.

You can check your Pokemon’s stats with the Judge tool on your PC to see if they have good IVs. After speaking with an NPC on the facility’s right-hand side, you obtain this feature at the Battle Tower. If their grade for a certain stat is “Best!” then they don’t need to undertake any hyper training for that stat.

In Pokemon BDSP, how can you get started with Hyper Training?

Hyper Training was not included in the original Diamond and Pearl when it was released in 2006, but it has since been added to the endgame. You must first defeat the Elite Four before proceeding to the Fight Area. Talk to the ferryman in Snowpoint City to get access to this. After that, proceed to the Battle Tower.

Between the Battle Point (BP) vendors is a trainer who will take your Pokemon to Hyper Train them. Bottle Caps must be earned and traded to the Hyper Trainer by the Battle Tower’s vendors. Normal Bottle Caps and Golden Bottle Caps are the two sorts of Bottle Caps.

He will Hyper Train one specific stat to have maximum IVs for a Pokemon if you give him one standard Cap. If you give him a Golden one, he’ll learn all of the Pokemon’s stats. The regular Caps can be purchased from the dealer on the left using BP. Only winning streaks in Master Class at the Battle Tower can earn you Golden Caps.

It’s worth noting that in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you can only Hyper Train Pokemon that have reached level 100. (BDSP).
