I’m excited to announce that Ikenfell, which Humble Games has been working hand-in-hand with the developers at Happy Ray Games, is releasing today on Xbox One and with Xbox Game Pass!
Ikenfell is a turn-based tactical RPG centred around a group of troublesome young magic students that will take you through a tale of friendship, trust, love, and loss. Each of the characters has their own personalities and quirks, which you’ll come to know and love.
Choose three of these six students to explore the school with, and make sure you choose carefully; each character possesses their own powers and strengths, which will affect how your battles play out!
Speaking of battles, you’ll find yourself challenged by more than 100 different enemy types, including monsters, myths, and even fellow students and teachers! The challenges don’t stop there, however. 22 bosses await you throughout Ikenfell, each of which will push your skills and strategies to their limits.
Don’t worry; you’ll have a mix of 48 exciting and powerful spells to choose from as you progress through Ikenfell. Blast your enemies, knock them back, poison them, or heal and buff your allies. Use each spell to its full ability to overcome the challenges that lay ahead!
There is no MP in Ikenfell. Instead, you’ll learn to master the timing mechanics of each spell, opting for skill and a strategic approach over consuming a simple mana bar. Forget what you thought you knew about magic; Ikenfell will truly test you. Think you have what it takes?
As you play Ikenfell, you’ll travel to every corner of the school of magic in order to acquire various equipment, items, and artifacts that will see your party grow in power, and help you overcome the powers that threaten you.
