That sinking feeling… the email, the meeting, the sudden uncertainty. We’ve all been there, or know someone who has. Losing your job is never easy, but in Singapore’s fast-paced, competitive market, it can feel especially daunting.

The pressure to provide, the high cost of living, the constant awareness of a demanding job market – it all weighs heavily on you. Suddenly, you’re facing a mountain of challenges, and the future feels uncertain.

But what if I told you there’s a lifeline? A way to stay afloat while you navigate the job search in Singapore?

Jobless in Singapore? Get Up to $6000 While You Search.

This scheme is designed to provide temporary financial support to individuals who have been involuntarily unemployed, giving them a much-needed buffer while they actively seek new employment.

Here’s the good news: this scheme offers up to $6,000 over six months.

That’s a significant buffer while you look for your next opportunity. This support can help cover essential living expenses, allowing you to focus on your job search without the added pressure of immediate financial strain.

It can also be used for skills training, empowering you to upgrade your qualifications and make yourself even more marketable. And importantly, this isn’t a loan; it’s a support scheme designed to help you get back on your feet.

Now, you’re probably wondering, “Am I eligible?”

To qualify for the SkillsFuture Jobseeker Support scheme, you’ll need to meet certain criteria, such as being a Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident, being involuntarily unemployed, and actively looking for a job.
