How to Use Enchantments in God of War
The addition of an RPG element to the action-packed God of War lets players tailor Kratos and his armor to their preferred playstyle. Enchantments, for all the fantastic things God of War does, can be an underestimated but crucial aspect of surviving the game’s more difficult encounters.
Enchantments are gems that may be socketed into Kratos’ armor to improve things like damage reduction, additional perk activations when utilizing a specific skill, and enhanced stats. High-level enchantment stones will give you not just stat boosts, but also passive bonuses like the ones described above.
There are four types of enchantment gems: common, rare, legendary, and epic. They are also color-coded as green, blue, purple, and gold to assist distinguish them and make sorting easier.
Where to Find Enchantment Gems in God of War
Enchantment gems can be found in a variety of places. They’re usually discovered in chests or as loot from fallen adversaries. Brok or Sindri, on the other hand, can sell them to you. Enchanted Dust and Hacksilver can be exchanged for enchantments with any of the dwarfs if you have enough resources.
Enchantments: How to Equip Them
The next step is to equip the enchantments once they have been obtained. Enchantments can only be socketed on God of War armor, but most armor will include enchantment slots. A piece of armor’s enchantment slots increases in number as it becomes more powerful and rare, up to a maximum of three per piece.
Certain armor components earn spaces as they are updated, which is helpful for those updating their armor along the road. Players will head to the Armor tab after pressing the Options button to equip an enchantment. Select one of the armor components and then hit the Square button to proceed to sockets, where you can choose an enchantment from the inventory. At no additional cost, players can remove enchantments to utilize on various armor pieces or exchange them to try out different builds.
