How to Get the Zephyr in Destiny 2
All prior events’ weapons are back with Destiny 2’s Dawning. The event now has one more sword to add to the arsenal. This sword’s name is Zephyr and many people question how to get it. Zephyr, unlike the 30th-anniversary swords, deals stasis damage. This makes it Destiny 2’s sixth non-exotic weapon with stasis damage. Fortunately, obtaining a copy of Zephyr is not difficult. Let’s talk about getting your own stasis blade.
How to Get Zephyr
Eva has a masterwork Zephyr in her inventory when speaking to her during the Dawning. To receive it, the player must first accomplish The Pigeon Provides. This task and the Rite of Dawning will be provided to the player once they finish the Dawning tutorial quest.
First, finish “The Lost Splicer” on Europa. Only accessible during the Dawning. After completing the mission, travel to the tower and speak with Saint-14. On Europa’s Eventide Ruins, find an Eliksni Recipe for him. Luckily, it’s easy to find thanks to a waypoint.
Now you must locate the ingredients. Sadly, these aren’t the usual Dawning components. You will need Vex Harpy Eggs, Pure Ether from Lost Sectors on Europa, and Glacial Starwort from nodes or chests. Run the Perdition Lost Sector a few times to gather all of this. After a few runs, you’ll be set.
Next, gather Dawning Spirit. This can be gained via completing Eva’s bounties or by purchasing her fully upgraded Starfarer 7M. Every time you acquire an ingredient with the 7M, you could win Dawning Spirit. The same way you gain ingredients, you can passively earn Dawning Spirit.
Then go to the Tangled Shore and grab Etheric Spiral. On the Tangled Shore, you can either harvest nodes or loot chests for progress. With the Etheric Spiral, go buy the Kellsdough from Spider on the Tangled Shore with your Dawning Spirit. It’s just like every other buy.
Once you have all of the materials, speak with Saint-14 in the Tower again. He will give you the treats you need to present to the Eliksni. Then go to the Eliksni Quarter from the H.E.L.M. Once inside, treat any Eliksni you see on the map.
Finally, return to Saint-14. A masterwork Zephyr and a shader will be your reward from him. Don’t worry if you don’t like Zephry’s rolls. It may be farmed like any other Dawning Weapon by opening presents or trading them for an Edgy Gift Exchange. You’ll get a Zephyr or a Cold Front.
