We’ve put together a guide to help players of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl evolve their Yanma into Yanmega. Players who previously played Pokémon Diamond and Pearl have been enjoying the remake and have been busy gathering and evolving Pokémon to fill their Pokédex since the game’s debut.
Yanma is a bug and flying type Pokémon that was debuted with Generation II. Yanma and its descendant, Yanmega, are recognised for being nimble fliers with the ability to see 360 degrees without moving its head. In the Pokémon games, there is a specific way to evolve Yanma into Yanmega.
How to get Yanma in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
To begin, players must have the Pokémon Yanma in order to evolve it into Yanmega. Getting Yanma in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Peal takes some effort. Trainers must first unlock the National Dex. This necessitates the player seeing all 150 Pokémon in the game, including Dialga and Palkia. After receiving the National Dex, players must travel to Pastoria City’s Great Marsh.
When you arrive at the Great Marsh, proceed to the Safari building and take the elevator to the second floor. Binoculars will be available for purchase for 100 Pokédollars. Look for Yanma using binoculars, and if you see it, make a note of where it was seen in the Great Marsh. Because there is only a 10% possibility of meeting Yanma every day, it may take a few tries. Players can then attempt to capture Yanma.
How to Evolve Yanma into Yanmega in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Before Yanma to evolve, the Pokémon must first master the move of Ancient Power. Yanma will be able to learn Ancient Power after she reaches level 33. Yanma will evolve into Yanmega the following time it levels up after mastering Ancient Power.
If Yanma does not know Ancient Power, trainers can take him to Pastoria City and have him relearn it at the Move Reminder. Yanma will then be able to relearn Ancient Power in exchange for a Heart Scale.
