How to Check IVs in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
You’ve probably heard of IVs, whether you’re a rookie player or a seasoned veteran of the mainline Pokemon games. These are known as ‘Individual Values,’ because they are what define a Pokemon’s overall numbers over time. When compared to other Pokemon of the same level, a Pokemon with a higher IV stat will be stronger overall. Breeding and hatching eggs is a major endgame action for this reason. It’s not always the case that the first Pokemon you catch has the best stats. Checking IVs in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is as simple as this.
