How Do Auctions Work in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

The best place to begin is with the game’s auction system, so let’s go over that first. Players can participate in auctions by speaking with the auctioneer NPC (non-playable character) at the Auction House in Porto Marinda, which will be introduced to them early on in the game. Once inside, the player will have the option of purchasing from one of three NPCs, each of whom has a unique item to offer. Users can peruse the auctions and join whichever ones they like best. These will update as the day progresses in-game, but you can speed up the process by setting your computer’s clock forward, at which point the items in the auction house will refresh immediately.

A player can view the item up for auction and compete with other NPC (non-playable character) players for the highest bid by going to the bidding screen after selecting an auction. To bid on an item, players enter the maximum amount they are willing to pay, and the game keeps track of the highest bid in a manner similar to a real-world auction. This auction is where you can get your hands on some of the game’s rarest items, including “Apricorn PokéBalls” and other items that can be found nowhere else.

The short answer is no; there is no way to manipulate the auction to get the things you want or to get them for a low price. Everything about the process is based on luck, and the odds of winning the items you’re bidding on have nothing to do with the amount of money you’re willing to spend. Some players find it ridiculous that certain items, like the apricot Pokeball mentioned above, can sell for as much as 100,000 pokecoins.

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, auctions are a fun and exciting way to get your hands on rare and valuable items. However, participants should be cognizant of the potential hazards and take precautions to avoid spending more than they can afford or getting carried away by the thrill of the bidding process. Overall, auctions are a fun and interesting part of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, allowing players to acquire rare and valuable items and Pokémon. Therefore, if you want to try your luck at winning some rare new items or Pokémon for your collection, you should consider bidding in an auction.
