How to beat Chak’ Lok in Halo Infinite
The five main strategies for defeating Chak’ Lok in Halo Infinite are:
- Deploy the Threat Sensor to see where Chak’ Lok is while cloaked.
- Use the blue Shock Coils to stun the boss momentarily.
- Use Pulse weapons and Pulse Grenades to lower his shields (white bar).
- Use a Kinetic weapon and any type of Grenade in Halo Infinite to lower his health (red bar).
- Alternate between Threat Sensor and Halo Infinite’s Grappleshot to reveal his location, then quickly retreat.
How to Defeat Chak’ Lok in Halo Infinite
As soon as the battle starts, use the Threat Sensor to locate Chak’ Lok. Console players must press right on the d-pad twice to return to the Grappleshot. Then, use a Pulse weapon, like the Pulse Carbine in Halo Infinite, to attack the boss.
Aim at the blue Shock Coils on the walls to temporarily stun Chak’ Lok. Players can also pick up and throw the coils, but this slows movement. Use Pulse weapons and Grenades to lower his shields while stunned.
Avoid the boss’s Energy Sword jump attack, which can kill players in one or two hits. Avoid him with the Grappleshot as he jumps at Master Chief. To keep track of the boss, switch back to the Threat Sensor when it runs out.
All of Chak’ Lok’s shields will vanish once the white bar disappears. Use shock coils and grenades to reduce his health, but try to use a Kinetic or powerful weapon. Help him lose his red health quickly. If you run out of ammo, use the nearby ammo caches. Weapons and grenades are also scattered around.
To defeat Chak’ Lok as quickly as possible, alternate between the Grappleshot and Threat Sensor. To re-fight the boss, a new save file must be created. Because players can’t replay story missions in Halo Infinite at launch.
