Genshin Impact leaks: Shenhe’s Full Combat Gameplay Reveals
Character updates are one of the most anticipated events for Genshin Impact gamers. Fans of Genshin Impact are naturally excited about the two new characters released recently.
The latest announcement of Gorou and Arataki Itto, both from the new territory Inazuma, brings more characters with ties to the area. The tale appears to be returning to the fan-favorite locale Liyue, as both new characters Shenhe and Yun Jin are linked to this area.
As the Genshin Impact 2.4 beta phase gets underway, more details about upcoming content are emerging, including a new region called Enkanomiya. It appears Shenhe is fighting a basic hilichurl in a video posted to the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit.
MiHoYo has started a new trend of unveiling new characters before the betas, probably since the characters will be released on day one of the betas regardless. Large sections of Shenhe’s kit were recently leaked on Reddit, as seen below:
- Elemental Burst – releases the power of Sealed Spirit, allowing it to roam and deal AoE Cryo damage. The spirit will leave behind a field effect which will decrease Cryo and Physical Resistances of enemies in the field.
- Passive – Upon activating Shenhe’s Elemental Skill, her party members gain a significant damage or skill buff, depending on the way it was activated (hold or tap).
- Elemental Skill (tap) – allows Shenhe to dash forward dealing Cryo damage along the way, similar to Xiao’s skill.
- Elemental Skill (hold) – deals AoE Cryo damage for a couple of seconds.
The official art confirms that she is a new Cryo character. Her weapon of choice is the Polearm, and she’s expected to be one of Genshin Impact’s best sub-DPS characters. Shenhe will appear with another Geo polearm character, Yun Jin.
Shenhe and Yun Jin may appear in the same banner cycle, which is wonderful news for players that want both. Regarding the second banner, earlier leaks suggest Xiao and Ganyu may get a re-run. This suggests that update 2.4 may follow the same pattern as its predecessor, with two new characters and a strong double banner re-run.
