Facebook removed “edit post” option from app?
Facebook mobile app users are upset that the “edit post” button has mysteriously disappeared.
Unlike Twitter, which has always prevented its users from editing their own tweets or other postings once they have been shared publicly, this social networking site lets them change the text on their photographs and other posts even after they have been shared.
After more than a decade of users becoming accustomed to the feature, its removal has once again become a contentious issue, much like when it was first implemented.
And why is it the case? It is unclear why the option to revise the previous post vanished without a trace The more pressing question is, though, when can we expect it to return?
There have been a lot of Twitter users recently expressing their frustrations. A lot of which have criticised Facebook by the conclusion. There was even some longing for the original MySpace.
The Twitter user claims that the disappearance of the feature became apparent after he downloaded the latest version of Facebook from the Apple App Store. It would appear that Android users are not afflicted by this issue.
Furthermore, Facebook’s inaction appears to be the primary source of user dissatisfaction.
