Everything You Wanna Know About Steam Deck!

Welcome to our ‘Everything You Wanna Know About Steam Deck!’ article. The Steam Deck may be the most interesting PC gaming gadget right now, and it won’t be long until players get their hands on it. This much-anticipated Valve gadget will permanently revolutionize the way PC players play PC games by letting them to carry their entire Steam library with them wherever they go.

That makes the wait much more agonising. In February 2022, the Steam Deck will be released due to worldwide supply chain concerns. A few teaser photographs showing the Steam Deck box and contents have been revealed by Valve to pacify drooling PC enthusiasts – yet this teaser also serves as a harsh reminder of what we’re missing.

But don’t worry, Valve has confirmed a release date, so our long wait is ended. Before the Steam Deck ships, here’s everything you need to know.

Everything you wanna know about steam deck!

The Steam Deck not only lets you take your Steam library with you, but it also has a lot of remarkable features. This SteamOS-powered gadget can run whatever OS you desire, including Windows 11 and Linux Ubuntu, and it can dual boot. That’s astounding enough on its own, let alone considering it’s a portable gadget.

Like the Nintendo Switch, the Steam Deck may be docked to a TV or monitor through USB Type-C. (assuming the display supports USB Type-C video input). Valves own dock is in the works, however for now any USB Type-C compliant dock will work. It should also work with all conventional PC devices, from controllers to keyboards and mouse. You can even utilise Bluetooth headphones, something other major video game systems do not allow.

It will be powered by an AMD Aerith SoC with a four-core, eight-thread Zen2 CPU and an AMD RDNA 2 GPU. This processor should provide a consistent gaming experience across games while enabling the device’s 40-watt-hour battery to last 7–8 hours.

So, what more do we know about Steam Deck? Explore this possibly game-changing portable.
