Welcome to our ‘Elden Ring: How to Revive NPCs?’ guide.
Reviving NPCs In Elden Ring
Like previous FromSoftware products, you can fight NPCs in the Lands Between. Whether you intended to kill an NPC or accidently hit the attack button mid-conversation, you may be able to make amends.
But warned, not every NPC will pardon or revive you, and it varies per character. But if you’re desperate for the NPC’s help, you might use the following way as a final option.
With Elden Ring, you can ask for forgiveness from NPCs, making them friendly or neutral again. You can also revive the dead this manner. However, some NPCs will remain dead no matter how many times you ask for forgiveness. Still, this strategy usually works with most NPCs in the game, unless it has to do with your choices as you advance through the tale.
Seeking Absolution To Revive NPCs
How to pursue Absolution and revive NPCs in Elden Ring? You must travel through the Lands Between to the Church of Vows. But you also need Celestial Dew on hand. The Celestial Dew should be utilised at Lady Rennala’s Statue, then Absolution should be requested. You go through the entire procedure, hoping to make amends with the enraged NPC. But first, you must know how to go to the Church of Vows.
How to visit the Church of Vows?
The Church of Vows can be reached via teleportation from the Raya Lucaria Academy. To go to the Church of Vows, head northwest from the Artists Shack in North Lirunia.
In this guide, we’ll use the teleporter, which is more convenient. After fighting Radagon’s Red Wolf in the Raya Lucaria Legacy Dungeon, you’ll be allowed entry to the Debate Hall in the Site of Grace. When you exit the debate chamber, glance right to discover a big spiral staircase. Ascend the stairs by leaping upon the pillars that connect them to your piece of land. It’s tricky because boulders can roll down the stairs. You may time your ascent as the boulders roll. They may initially surprise you, but they are easily avoided.
You’ve reached the top of the steps; now what? The room has two exits: one north and one east. Enter the right exit to discover the teleporter on a balcony. Interact with the teleporter to be whisked away to the Church of Vows. Because there is no return portal to the Academy, you must utilize the fast travel option to return to the Debate Hall at the Site of Grace to complete the Legacy Dungeon.
You might ask Miriel, the giant tortoise pasture, for directions when you’re in the Church of Vows. After that, if you meet the standards, you can obtain absolution.
What do you require for Absolution?
The criteria are laborious, but worth it if you wish to resuscitate or satisfy an NPC. To obtain Absolution, you must first obtain the Celestial Dew, and then anger or murder an NPC. If you try to get Absolution without it, you’ll get a message saying you don’t need it.
You can also Atone for your sins, which would absolve you of all the sins you’ve committed over your bloodthirsty rampage. Unless the tale progresses, this will make furious NPCs nice again. So you’re out of luck here.
Some NPCs will also be revived. But which NPC will be revived remains a mystery. Nobody knows how that works or what NPCs are excluded from being revived. Most shopkeepers and key NPCs will be revived, but not all. Overall, you should be able to resurrect NPCs in Elden Ring.
Acquiring Celestial Dew To Revive NPCs
Then comes the last portion and need. How to acquire Celestial Dew? You may buy it from the Nomadic Merchant in Ainsel River. But it costs roughly 7,500 Runes.
If that’s too much for you, walk over to Caria Manor and talk to Pidia, the Caria Servant, who will offer the Dew for 5,000 runes.
If you lack Runes, you can search the Lands Between for wild Celestial Dew. The Uhl Palace Ruins have some. Look for a ledge with a dead body. You can loot the corpse and find Celestial Dew on it.
Nokron in the Eternal City follows. You must descend into the ruins to reach the bottom. A body is found in the room’s corner. Take the Celestial Dew from the corpse.
Go to the Night’s Sacred Ground to collect more Celestial Dew to atone for your crimes. You must travel up a lengthy road, where you will find a body on the roadside. On the corpse is a container of Celestial Dew. The Eternal City has one more vial of Celestial Dew. Go to Nokstella. You’ll find a corpse under some ruins while exploring. Search the body for Celestial Dew in the Lands Between.
