Dung Eater is one of Elden Ring’s longer NPC questlines. You must head to Miquella’s Haligtree, an optional site that demands a lot of labor to reach.
a) Atlus Plateau & Roundtable Hold
To begin the Dung Eater quest, you must first go to the Atlus Plateau, which may be reached by the Grand Lift or the lake in Liurnia of the Lakes. Atlus Plateau: The Dung Eater appears in the Roundtable Hold.
After entering the Roundtable Hold, Roderika will tell you that she can hear ghosts sobbing in fear of the Dung Eater on the opposite wing.
The Dung Eater is currently on the Roundtable Hold’s opposite wing, near Gideon, the All-Knowing. Only a Seedbed Curse will get the Dung Eater to communicate to you. So let’s speak about Seedbed Curses.
b) Seedbed Curse locations
The Dung Eater questline requires the Seedbed Curse items. The Dung Eater plot requires only five of the six to be found. Here’s where to locate them.
Lenydell Royal Capital – Blackguard’s quest.

Leyndell Royal Capital – East Capital Rampart.
The Leyndell Royal Capital has this non-quest Seedbed Curse. Follow the main path along the wall to the shattered statue gargoyle opponent blocking the entryway. Take the elevator inside. Enter the huge chamber and ascend the right-hand ladder. The Seedbed Curse is on the chair’s body.

Splash down and grab a brace. A vast platform awaits you, with a Crimson Teardrop Scarab perched atop a little pagoda. Jump to this platform, then to the northwest brace.
Then walk up the brace and leap. Then follow the ledge around to the end, where a corpse is on a chair. A Putrid Avatar guards a gateway behind the body.
