The Miami Dolphins snapped their three-game losing streak with a gritty 23-15 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. Tyreek Hill ended his scoreless streak, helping lift the Dolphins back into the win column with a strong defensive performance that dominated much of the game.
It was a tough night offensively for both teams, with much of the game characterised by stalled drives and missed opportunities.
Miami’s defence, however, was relentless, managing to hold the Rams out of the end zone entirely and forcing L.A. into settling for field goals.
The Dolphins’ record improves to 3-6, and while they still have a challenging path to playoff contention, this victory gives them momentum to build on.
Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, quiet in recent games, managed to produce some much-needed offensive spark, helping Miami seize the win in Los Angeles.
With a favourable schedule ahead, the Dolphins have a real shot at reigniting their playoff campaign.
On the other side, it was a disappointing showing for Sean McVay’s Rams. L.A. struggled throughout, unable to capitalise on their newly healthy offensive line.
Matthew Stafford, who had a rough outing, couldn’t find a rhythm as the Rams repeatedly faltered.
Rookie kicker Joshua Karty provided the team’s only points, converting 5 of 6 field goals, including an impressive attempt from 57 yards.
The Dolphins’ performance in Los Angeles could mark a turning point in their season, particularly if their star players can stay healthy. For the Rams, however, this loss represents a serious setback in the NFC standings.
