When Costco announced they would no longer accept American Express cards in October of 2015, Sam’s Club quickly announced it would soon begin accepting American Express (AMEX) too. In January 2016 Visa cards were also added so no matter which card you carry with you when shopping at Sam’s Club!
Sam’s Club began accepting Discover cards before 2006; to stay competitive with other major retailers, however, Sam’s Club then added Mastercard to its accepted cards list in 2006.
