Destiny 2: How to start the Dares of Eternity activity
Dares of Eternity is a new activity in Destiny 2 commemorating Bungie’s 30th Anniversary. This six-person matchmade event is the first thing you’ll do after installing the update.
After that, click the Eternity symbol on the main map in the Director to begin the mode. It’s right below the Moon. Then select the Dares of Eternity option to enter the event. If you are playing solo, you will be added to a party.
Then you must battle through rounds of foes and tasks until the bar is full, at which point you can face the final monster. Each mini-event is rather simple, requiring you to just destroy foes. You may come across a shield adversary that requires the use of energy weapons dropped by lower adversaries. You must also eliminate a Take Blight by hurling orbs dropped by other Taken at it.
It’s all quite simple to figure out as you go. After defeating the final boss, you will be able to open a chest containing a Treasure Key. Then return to Eternity and utilize the key with Xur at his Treasure Horde.
