Destiny 2 Ethereal Charms is the vital item for the Essence of Greed which unlocks the heavy machine gun A Fine Memorial.
This machine gun can be equipped at current Power levels, which means the Ethereal Charms are going to be in high demand once again.
It only needs to be found once, but that’s still no easy task given how obscure the Essence quests can be.

How to find the Temple of Crota
Get on your sparrow and take the East path into the Anchor of Light from the southern landing zone on the Moon.
Head straight, passing the big research donut, and then move right. It will lead you to a thin chasm that gets you into the Temple of Crota.
Get into the temple and continue descending. You can avoid enemies through the way.
After you reach the first open room, save a bit of time by cutting through the hollowed-out Artifact-looking thing. Continue going down until you reach another open chamber.
The Destiny 2 Ethereal Charms will be in the back of this room.
Sometimes they can be difficult to see, look around for a conspicuous pile of rubble on the far side of the room.
Finally, you have the Ethereal Charms! Now you can craft all the Fine Memorial machine guns you desire.
