Coral Island: How to Catch Bugs?
Given the popularity of games like Animal Crossing and Dinkum, in which players are introduced to mechanics like fishing and bug-catching, it is not surprising that these ideas have found their way into the recently launched Coral Island. The new agricultural game features a wide range of bugs, from small animals to beautiful butterflies. Check out our detailed tutorial below to learn all about bug-catching on Coral Island.
Bug-Catching on Coral Island
A bug net is the primary tool for catching insects. A letter will be sent to your home with directions to Sunny’s Beach Shack (pictured on the map below). After a day or two of gaming time, this should occur. Visit their store after getting the letter to pick up a bug net and a fishing pole. They will be delivered to your rural mailbox if your storage space is at capacity.
You can finally put that insect net to use! Click the mouse in the direction you want to aim the net and gently make your way near the bug. Repeated attempts may be necessary if the bug manages to escape your grasp the first time around.
You may find it challenging to maintain accuracy after acquiring a standard bug net and employing it in this manner. In case you are having problems, head back to the beach hut and pick up a new and improved insect net, complete with a cone to help you aim.
Handling Insects
Donating or selling your bug catch to a museum is an option once you have studied it. Donating your first catch of that species is strongly encouraged.
