Bilt Rewards is a loyalty program designed for renters and travelers. With Bilt, you can earn points on rent payments with no-fee rent payments – a rare perk for renters. By paying rent through the Bilt platform or using the Bilt Mastercard, your monthly rent turns into valuable rewards points. The program also boosts points on everyday spending like dining out, Lyft rides, and travel. Those points can be redeemed for free fitness classes, statement credits, or transferred 1:1 to hotel and airline loyalty programs.

No-Fee Rent Payments and Points

One of Bilt’s biggest draws is that renters pay rent without any transaction fee and still earn points. Up to 100,000 points per year can be earned on rent payments (1 point per $1). If your landlord participates in the Bilt Alliance (millions of apartments and rental companies), you simply pay rent through the Bilt app. Otherwise, you can still pay by credit card or bank transfer with no extra fee. These points add up toward free travel, rent credits, or even a down payment on a home.

Bilt Mastercard Perks and Earning Rates

The Bilt World Elite Mastercard® has $0 annual fee and comes packed with bonuses. Key Bilt Mastercard perks include:

  • 3X points on dining – earn triple points at restaurants and food delivery.
  • 2X points on travel – double points on hotels, flights, car rentals and more (booked directly).
  • 1X point on rent – earn 1 point per dollar on all rent payments (up to 100k points/year).
  • No foreign transaction fee – use the card abroad without extra charges.
  • Lyft partnership – link Bilt to Lyft to earn bonus points on rides, plus occasional Lyft ride credits.

Plus, on the 1st of each month (Rent Day), the card boosts its rewards: you’ll earn 6X points on dining, 4X on travel and 2X on other spend during that 24-hour period. These perks make every swipe more rewarding. (Remember to use the card at least five times per statement to earn points each month.)

More Ways to Earn Points

Beyond rent and card spend, Bilt offers other earning opportunities. For example, Bilt members can earn extra points through the Bilt Dining program (special restaurants in 50+ cities offering bonus points) and by taking fitness classes or events offered through Bilt. Linking your Bilt and Lyft accounts lets you earn up to 3X (or more) points on rides booked in the Lyft app. Even everyday purchases earn 1X on the Bilt card, so your routine spending contributes to rewards.

Transfer Partners and Travel Rewards

Bilt points are extremely versatile. You can transfer them 1:1 to many hotel and airline programs. Major travel transfer partners include World of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy, and Hilton Honors on the hotel side, and airlines like Southwest Rapid Rewards, United MileagePlus, American AAdvantage, and British Airways Avios. This means you can use your points for flights and free hotel nights worldwide. Bilt also periodically offers transfer bonuses (e.g. extra miles when you convert points), making it even more valuable for travel.

Recent Updates and Rent Day Promotions

Bilt frequently runs special promotions, especially on the first of each month (“Rent Day”). These events have featured bonus point offers and experiences. For instance, recent Rent Day promos included up to a 100% points bonus when redeeming for gift cards, extra points on Amazon redemptions, and even bonus miles on airline transfers. Bilt has also added fun perks like free Rent Day fitness classes or local dining events for members. These updates keep the program fresh and give renters extra ways to rack up rewards.

In short, Bilt Rewards turns your rent into an opportunity to earn travel and lifestyle perks. With its no-fee rent payments, rewarding Bilt Mastercard, multiple earning categories, and flexible travel partners, Bilt is a powerful program for renters and travelers looking to maximize points on everyday expenses.
