Beats Flex offered at no cost to new Apple Music student members
Alongside its previous back-to-school offerings, Apple is providing new users of its Apple Music Student plan a free pair of Beats Flex earphones.
Starting on June 22nd, new subscribers to Apple Music in the US and UK will receive a free pair of Beats Flex earbuds as part of a special promotion.
The deal is valid just for students in the two countries who have never had a paid Apple Music subscription before. A student who has been validated as enrolled in an eligible bachelor’s or master’s degree programme or comparable higher education course through Apple or a supported third-party verification partner is eligible for an Apple Music Student subscription.
When a subscriber makes their first monthly payment, they are entitled to get the headphones. If an Apple ID is qualified, it will receive an email from Apple within 30 days with information on how to claim a free set of Beats Flex earbuds, which must be claimed within 90 days after delivery.
This campaign comes shortly after Apple announced its 2022 Back to School gift card programme, which offers gift cards in addition to educational discounts.
Apple secretly increased the cost of its Student plan in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada on June 22 or June 23, from $4.99 to $5.99 (or the equivalent amount in local currency). The costs of the other packages are not changing.
