All Rare Candy Locations in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Rare Candies are extremely valuable in Pokemon games. Simply speed up the leveling process to bring your mons to 100 faster per item. It sounds like a great way to save time, but they’re not simple to come by. In truth, there are only a few in the Sinnoh remakes that have lately been published. The locations of Rare Candy in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are listed below.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl’s Rare Candy locations

Rare Candies can be found in 20 different places in BDSP. It’s worth noting that you won’t always be able to farm them with your Poketch’s Dowsing Machine. The following is a list of all known pickup locations for the item:

  • Route 207
  • Route 212
  • Route 214
  • Route 218
  • Route 224 (2)
  • Route 225 (2)
  • Route 230
  • Eterna City
  • Wayward Cave
  • Mt. Coronet (4)
  • Solaceon Ruins
  • Victory Road (2)
  • Stark Mountain
  • Hotel Grand Lake

In fact, you can get more than 20 in a single session of the game. In actuality, you can get extra Rare Candies by playing in the Grand Underground and purchasing them from Battle Tower sellers.

While the Grand Underground approach is time-consuming, you can farm them at the Battle Tower instead. A single Rare Candy will set you back 20 BP. You’ll have plenty of points to spend on Rare Candies or other lovely stuff if you’re farming for that 100-win streak for your trainer card.

You’ll collect a lot of BP as your Battle Tower streak progresses, especially when you defeat guys like Palmer the Tower Tycoon. It is highly advised that you train your Pokemon to have strong and desirable IVs and EVs that complement their base numbers at this point in the game. It’ll aid you in surviving the Tower’s more difficult confrontations.

It’s also worth noting that Rare Candies should not be used to instantly level up a Pokemon to level 100. Because they didn’t gain a lot of happiness or EVs along the way, their stats will be much lower. A Pokemon that has been boosted to level 100 using only rare candies will lose to a Pokemon that has been properly trained by facing various mons in the wild and in trainer battles.
