Powerball: How to play?
Each time the jackpot rolls over, it adds another few million dollars to the total, and the cost of a ticket is only $2 or $3.
Powerball costs $2 per play, Powerball plus Power Play costs $3 per play, Powerball with Double Play costs $3 per play, and a Powerball L with Power Play and Double Play ticket costs $4 per play, giving you the best possible odds.
Each ticket includes five panels, covering the alphabet from A to E. The price is $1 for the whole ticket, or $5 if you want to pay for each individual panel.
First, in the upper play area, select your five preferred numbers from 1 to 69, or use the Quick Pick checkbox to have the terminal choose the numbers for you.
Secondly, in the lower section of the game board, pick a Powerball number between 1 and 26.
