It costs $2 for every line you play in Mega Millions. You’ll need to pick six numbers, one from each of two ranges (1-70 for the white-ball numbers) and 1-25 for the other (which is the golden Mega Ball). Easy Pick/Quick Pick is another option. You’ll hit the jackpot if you match all six numbers.
After tallying up the sales of all the tickets, a jackpot total is established and publicised in advance of each drawing.
The Mega Millions game offers nine different opportunities to win a prize, from the jackpot to a refund on your ticket price. To do so, you can add on more game options like Power Play, which will raise the price of the ticket to $3.
If the ball you pick is a winner, your payout will be multiplied by the number of times that number appears in that ball, up to a maximum of ten times. Additional game choices can be selected for a fee.
