Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to Sneakstrike
Many skills, equipment, and gameplay elements from Breath of the Wild are also present in Tears of the Kingdom. Fans of BOTW will recognize several elements of TOTK, such as shield surfing and Razorshrooms.
That’s still the case with Link’s Sneakstrike assaults, which are back and better than ever as a powerful stealth attack.
The same as in Breath of the Wild, the best way to start a Sneakstrike is to sneak up on an unsuspecting foe. As long as Link doesn’t wake them up or otherwise alert them to his presence, the Sneakstrike prompt will appear. Crouching and moving slowly are common methods, but using Stealth-enhancing gear is also an option.
When the prompt appears, pressing Y will start a Sneakstrike. The damage done by whatever weapon Link is using will be multiplied by eight, same like in BOTW.

Those of you playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the first time may be wondering how to gain access to this power. The Sinatanika Shrine is all that’s required to learn Sneakstrike, so it’s easy to see why. You’ll find these coordinates in the eastern part of Hyrule, in the Akkala Highlands.
When a player enters the Shrine, they can begin training in Sneakstrike, a fighting ability that will allow them to gain an advantage in battle.
