In general, traveling from one point in Hyrule Kingdom to another is a freeing and liberating experience. However, there are a few mechanisms that can prevent you from going in the desired direction. For example, Link’s freedom of movement is severely restricted by the presence of Thorn Bushes. Check below to know how to get past Thorn Bushes in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Fire arrows and bomb arrows can be used to destroy Thorn Bushes that are in the road.
To begin, you can destroy the Thorn Bushes by fusing Fire Fruits to your Arrows and then firing them at them. It will take a long for the fire to consume all of the thorny bushes, so it’s best to give yourself plenty of space. Burning them will make the area safe for further exploration.
The alternative is to combine Bomb Flowers with your Arrows and fire them into the thorny bushes. It goes without saying that you should maintain a safe distance, as getting too close would result in Link’s destruction.
Since we believe Bomb Flowers are significantly more rare than Fire Fruits, we recommend the first approach if given the choice. Still, it’s up to you because either approach will succeed.
