Some weapons, like the Master Sword, are integral to the story of Tears of the Kingdom, while others, like the Dusk Claymore, are only available in one area.
The Great Eagle Bow is unique in that it has a place in Zelda canon. One of the Champions of Hyrule, Revali, was given the Great Eagle Bow to use in the fight against Calamity Ganon.
In TOTK, Link can obtain a new version of the Great Eagle Bow. The following contains minor spoilers for the story up to this point, but is necessary knowledge in order to obtain the Champion’s weapon.
In TOK, Link investigates various disturbances across Hyrule. The Great Eagle Bow can be earned by helping Link investigate a blizzard that is affecting Rito Village.
After that, they can approach Tulin, a non-playable character based in Rito Village, and strike up a chat. As long as Link can provide him with appropriate goods, he’ll offer to construct him another Great Eagle Bow. Such as:
A Swallow Bow
5 Bundles of Wood
3 Diamonds
In addition to being obtainable via an amiibo, the Swallow Bow can be unearthed in one of three locations around Hyrule. They are the peaks of Hebra, Flight Range, and Talonto. If you don’t have five bundles of wood, chop down some trees; most gamers do. Diamonds are another potential stumbling block, but we have a reliable strategy to finding them in TOTK.
Link can trade all of those in for a Great Eagle Bow once he has collected them all. It’s a formidable weapon, capable of shooting three bows at once. If all of them connect, the maximum damage from a single shot is 84.
