Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to Get Dusk Claymore
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a claymore is a broadsword, contrary to what players of prior games might assume.
A two-handed sword, the Dusk Claymore has a base power of 34 and a base durability of 50 for its wielder. It’s a powerful weapon and well worth the effort required to acquire.
The Dusk Claymore, unlike other weapons like the iconic Master Sword, is only available to players at a single, static location. The standard method involves finding a Treasure Chest in the northern Great Hyrule Forest, not far from the Thyphlo Ruins (more on this later).
The Dusk Claymore is kept in a chest on the island in the middle of the lake, slightly north of the Ruins.
The Dusk Claymore can also be acquired by purchasing the Ganondorf amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. series. It works just like any other amiibo, allowing you to link it to your Zelda game and gain access to special features.
A slim claymore said to have been passed down to the kingdom of Hyrule many years ago, as described in-game. There is a divine sheen on the blade.
