Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to Get Autobuild
The Autobuild ability is unlocked by traveling to the Great Abandoned Central Mine below the surface. You can reach here from anywhere below earth, although the Great Plateau East Chasm is the most direct route. Teleport to the In-isa shrine on Great Sky Island, then head in a southwesterly direction.
This is the site of a shrine in Breath of the Wild, thus players who have experienced the game may recognize it. If you crash in the Depths, you’ll find it utterly black unless you throw a Brightbloom Seed.
There will be a number of Zonai gadgets in the area, and in order to construct a vehicle with Ultrahand, you will need to collect a cart and a fan. As soon as you’ve done that, you can hitch up the cart to the rail and ride it to the Great Abandoned Central Mine.
The next step is to scale the nearby wall until you reach an abandoned Forge. There will be a Steward Construct and two humans nearby; talk to the glowing green sign to get the Autobuild ability.
The two scientists will invite you to try out your new abilities, and you should comply. But know that as soon as you finish the objective, you’ll be thrust into a boss encounter.
