Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its sequel, Tears of the Kingdom, feature numerous new and innovative modes of transportation, but horseback riding is one of the series’ most enduring traditions. One of the most important pieces of advice for traveling around on land is to acquire and maintain a mount, which involves feeding it. Here’s how to feed horses in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom if you have no idea what you’re doing.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to Feed Horses
In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can’t tame or ride horses until you return to the Surface realm from the Sky realm and travel to Lookout Landing. The stable is closed because it is in disrepair, as the stable master will tell you if you talk to him. After finding your first memory and maybe a couple geoglyphs, you’ll want to come back later in the game.
Your Ultrahand will make quick work of the roof repair quest when you return to the derelict stable. Once you do this, you’ll be able to use the stable to rest and store any horses you obtain.

There are optional tasks like “Spotting Spot,” in which you search for a missing horse named “Spot” that belongs to a non-playable character. He is immediately identifiable among a local wild herd thanks to his dalmatian-like spotted coat. When you return him to Lester, the NPC will give you a gift.
