“Yellowstone Prequel – Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren Next Series Gets New Title”
Following the casting announcements of Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, Paramount+ has now announced that Taylor Sheridan’s next Yellowstone prequel has officially changed its title. Formerly titled 1932, the drama will now be officially titled 1923 and will be set at the end of World War I and the start of Prohibition.
The latest spin-off is set to premiere on Paramount+ in December.
1923: Synopsis
The synopsis reads, “1923 focuses on the Dutton family’s next two generations as they struggle to survive historic drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle theft; all battled beneath the cloud of Montana’s great depression, which preceded the nation by almost a decade

MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions are producing the upcoming Yellowstone prequel. Taylor Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson serve as executive producers.
Other details
Taylor Sheridan and John Linson created the original series. Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, and others appear in the film. It is currently in production for its fifth season, which is set to premiere in November.
